MAN AND WIVES:
LOVE AND MARRIAGE
IN THE BIBLE
with
Rabbi Mark Kaiserman

With the "traditional" view of
marriage being raised today, we'll
explore the marriages and loves
of the characters in the Bible.

From the start of it all with
Adam and Eve, to Jacob's many
spouses, and Ruth's complicated
relationships, the Bible presents
many models of marital bonds
that aren't always bliss. Explore
the fun, sad, and knotty liaisons
of our sacred text and history.

You bring lunch and the
desire to learn. We provide
dessert and beverages.

In the midst of winter,
celebrate spring
with Adult Education

For Adults and Teens
Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 6PM

Tu B’Shvat is an ancient festival,
reminding us of our sacred duty to
renew
the promise of the earth and all its bounty.

Sharing wine, fruits, and songs,
we will participate in a beautiful Seder
to be conducted by Cantor Sharon Brown-Levy.

Following the Seder enjoy a delicious
vegetarian dinner. There is no fee.
Everyone will contribute a dish.

E-mail AdultEd@emanuel.org and tell
them how many will attend and
what dish you will bring.
